Can you tell me the easiest way to get the cursor to the bottom left hand corner of the spreadsheet rather than keep having to scroll down the screen to get there all the time.
    see screenshot.

CTRL + Home and then CTRL and Down Arrow!

Can this be done in macro?

You could record a macro, but then you’d have to assign the macro to a toolbar button or keyboard shortcut. In this situation, you gain very little.

Yes it can be done. If you switch on the recorder and record the key stokes (Hans has some good alternatives in his reply), then you can use the macro to get there. These key strokes are fairly generalized as long as there are no gaps (empty rows) within the worksheet.

PS: You can assign the macro to a button on the toobar fro further quick access if a key stroke is not desired!

Do you mean the lower left corner of the used range of the worksheet? For example:

Press Ctrl+End to go to the last cell of the used range, then press Home to go to the beginning of the row (if you have applied freeze panes, you’ll only go to the beginning of the “unfrozen” part)

If all cells within the used range in the first column are filled, you can click in any cell in the first column, then press End then down arrow.
