    Is there a program/macro that shows cell links? I am becomong frustrated with receiving a message asking if I want to update the links. What i would like to do is eliminate the links. Thanks.

      For simple situations, you can look at Edit | Links… This has an option to break the links.

      For the tougher ones, there is a free add-in by Bill Manville: Findlink, available from The Excel MVP Page.
