    My Recent Documents comes up “(empty)”, but they are present in the “My Recent Documents” folder. How to connect?

      Look for the actual documents wherever you stored them on the hard drive. Somehow your Recent Documents list got cleared. Either that, or you are logged in as a different user than the one which shows the Recent Documents.
