    I know this is possible, but don’t know how to do it:
    I have a workbook:
    First sheet has a table, left most column being dates spaced a week each other.
    Next column are values, being updated weekly. Obviously, the size of the table grows over time.
    I want to have a single cell (always same cell, in SECOND sheet), to have the latest value weekly updated in table at sheet one.
    Any hint on how to proceed will be very valuable for me.
    Thanks in advance for your help and guidance.

    Daniel Rozenberg.

      Hi everyone;
      Me again.
      Just browsing through the functions in Excel, I came to assume that a Pivot Table might do what I want.
      I don’t know how to generate or configure a Pivot Table.
      If this assumption is correct, the nature of the assistance I need exceeds the nature of help I believe it is supposed to be given here.
      So, I am hereby changing my question:
      Could I please get confirmation that a Pivot Table will do the job I need?
      If so, I will go and learn it.

      Thanks in advance.

      Say that the first sheet is named Sheet1 (how original!)
      Use the following formula in a cell on the other sheet:

      =INDEX(Sheet1!B:B,MATCH(9.99999999999999E+307,Sheet1!B:)

      9.99999999999999E+307 is the largest value that can be entered in a cell, so presumably there won’t be a match for it. Hence Excel finds the last used cell in column B.

        Thanks Hans.
        I will try it and let you know.

        Best regards

        Hi Hans;

        Well, I tried your recommendation, and it worked like a charm.

        Thanks a lot.

        Best regards,

        Daniel Rozenberg.
