Other than cut/paste,how can I take a 1201 row, 2 column table (columns A and with headings in the first column and reformat it into the following:
    headings in columns A, B copied to columns D, E, and G, H (columns C, F are empty)
    Data in rows 401 thru 801, columns A, B moved to rows 2 thru 401 of columns D, E
    Data in rows 801 thru 1201, columns A, B moved to rows 2 thru 401 of columns G, H

If you don’t need to keep the original layout, then Cut and Paste is probably the best way to go. If you want to keep the original layout, then you could create a new sheet with links to the original. This can also be done with VBA, but it would take longer to write the VBA than use Cut and Paste if you only have to do it once. If you need to do it many times, let me know and I can give you the VBA (you can also record it).
