Refreshing not working

I had asked this question 2 days ago on this forum and for some reason, it is missing, hence I did not get any replies. Whenever I add items to a folder. the item does not get arranged in the alphabetical order that I had chosen to sort by name until I click refresh. Can you tell me why is this happening and how can I fix this problem?

Did you set to run indexing on the drive/folder ?

Sometimes Windows Explorer gets stuck and does not refresh the list until you change from one folder to another, its just an intermittent bug.

So is there no fix for this problem? The strange thing that this happens on some folders not all. I am having to refresh The folder manually to fix the issue.

Yes there is not an official operating system fix, just a host of possible hacks to get it working right.

Nothing about eliminating certain file types, maybe that would relieve a bit of the database/searching overhead??
