Register ActiveX (O2K SR1 )

I have imported forms and code from a working database to the one I’m developing. In the DB I’m now working on, the command to activate an Excel workbook results in Error 429. Help suggests the ActiveX needs registering, but what do I register and how do I know what is or isn’t registered? VBA References are the same in both databases.

I still need help. What has got me bluffed is that the same code works in my working database on the same PC.

You’ve probably already done this but just in case … When you checked that the references were the same in both databases did you also check that the Location: paths at the bottom of the references window point to the identical paths and file names? e.g. OLE automation on my machine points to C:WINNTSystem32stdole2.tlb
