Hi, grateful for any advice.
Need to re-install W7 (from original disks with SP1). Obviously will need updates, but how do I know where to stop? Or alternatively is there a neat list of which updates to delete after MS has done its worst?
(Have tried to search forum, but stopped after 8 pages of – seriously – irrelevant answers: sorry if went about it the wrong way.)

Instructions for a Group A clean install.
Instructions for a Group B clean install. This is for a PC offline for a long time, but the instructions are basically the same as for Group A except you use the Security-only and IE11 CUs instead of the Monthly Rollups.
