What have people been using for remote support and remote desktop?

We’re a VERY small shop and the lowest cost Teamviewer and Gotomeeting plans aren’t workable for us.  The “free” accounts they have sense that we’re using it in a “commercial” environment and refuse to run.

I’ve run across Zoho Assist and it seems usable.  The paid plans are very reasonably priced if we have to go that way.  I’ve tested the trial version, it works as advertised.

Who has experience with Zoho Assist?

    TIA.

    Hey look! Another Feature Update!

When we left logmein years ago due to pricing increases we went to Splashtop. Been very  happy with the service. We use it mostly for users to handle their remote access needs, but we also used the SOS add on when necessary which allows remote support to anyone. (User goes to website downloads etc with code, we enter code on our side of app, remote connection, teamviewer-like).

Check their pricing, talk to their support to see if it fits your needs.

Been very happy with AnyDesk for small clients not worth setting up SSH and RDP.

Created by a couple original TeamViewer members

UltraVNC is what I have used for years. Features a good file transfer window, encryption modules and repeater support

FWIW, I’ve found that QuickAssist works for my needs since TeamViewer booted me for having to many Friends & Family even after I explained that I’m a retired guy that just helps people. I use OneDrive in conjunction with QA when I need to transfer a file to the person I’m helping. I really like the fact that I don’t have to get the helpee to install anything to do my thing.
