    Interesting script utility for windows 8, 8.1 and 10 to remove Store Apps via Technet.

      I tried that in 8.1 but didn’t have any luck.  Something about not being able to remove system apps on a per-user basis.

      After more searching, I found this:

      I did it (after backing everything up first, of course!) and it worked perfectly, with no ill effects at all noted.   These “system apps” are just more tacked-on, unwanted bloatware, just like you’d find on a smart phone (the similarity, I am sure, is merely a coincidence <eye roll>).
