I could use some help removing sub-folders from Outlook 2016.
I have been using Outlook (Microsoft Office Home and Business 2016) for more than five years.
Over time I have managed to create unwanted sub-folders in my Inbox and Trash folders and have been unsuccessful in removing any of them.
The sub-folders also appear when I login directly to my account at my email service provider.
I have tried:
- Removing the sub-folders directly from Outlook while the computer is on and off line,
- Removing the sub-folders by deleting them on our email service’s website directly and reopening Outlook,
- Taking the computer hosting Outlook offline and then deleting the sub folders in Outlook; logging into the mail server using a different computer (one that does not have Outlook setup) and deleting the sub-folders; then reconnecting the computer hosting Outlook to the internet and opening Outlook.
In each case the sub-folders reappear.
Any thoughts on how to get rid of the unwanted Outlook sub-folders?
