Hi. I have a column of french names. How can I replace accented characters with their english equivalent? For example, replace é with e.
I can do this individually using Edit/Replace, but is there a way I can do this with a collection of characters? Thanks, Andy.

You could modify the procedure (sub) and create a custom function that can be used in worksheet formulas.
Otherwise you’re stuck with lots of individual replace actions, I fear.
