Replacing Polderbits Sound Recorder

I have a wonderful, single-purpose program called Sound Recorder from Polderbits software. Apparently the creator died a couple of years ago and now no one can get updated access keys to reinstall on new computers. The software was designed to record from vinyl or cassette with a couple of filters and then split tracks. It did the job wonderfully – but is now worthless if you lose the computer on which it was installed. Any ideas?

I have been usingAudacityfor years. Maybe a bit more complex but then it will do a lot more than most and it is free so no activation needed.

I have been using CD Wave Editor for years. It is free with a request for $15 donation. I paid, because it is so useful.
