I’m generating a report of items ordered/monies owing. The report details uses columns to keep the report to a manageable size.

In the report footer, I have an overall total (an important figure which I must have) but it appears on a new page as it (the footer) is not part of the columns. Is there a way to avoid forcing a new page, and have the total appear at the foot of the last detail element?

    Thanks

You could try putting the text control with the sum in it in the Page Footer setting it’s visible property to false. Then put code in the Page footer to set the visible to true if Page = Pages.
Be careful, when testing the Pages field only shows a value when printing not in preview.
