    Is there a way of displaying negative values or summaries thereof in brackets (like in Excel) in Access reports?

      You can set the Format property of the text box(es) to a custom format, for example

      0;(0)

      for whole numbers, or

      0.00;(0.00)

      for numbers with 2 decimal places, or
