report txtbox control source (2002/SP2)

I know this is easy to do but I’ve got a mental block right now.

I would like to create a text box control source in a report that will print words and then the field contents. I thought this would work but it didn’t. In the control source box of the text box I typed:

=”9th Grade Sports”& [All9thSports]

I get an error. I know I’ve done this before.

That looked good to me, so I tried it on my machine here… Worked fine??… Go figure…
What error message are you getting? Are you sure the field name isn’t mispelled or something like that?
