My SSD is configured to two drives C: for windows and other programs and D: for data.
My C: drive is getting short on space whereas I have spare capacity on D: so I’d like to reallocate some of the spare D: space to the C: drive.
I know that windows built in disc manager can change partition sizes but it says to add space the free space must be adjacent to the drive to be expanded. Presumably if I free up space from D: the extra will be at the end of D: so I’d appreciate some advice. I recall doing this many years ago with a third party manager on a hard drive and all the files got moved but does this apply to an SSD.
TIA
