I am converting some Access 97 databases to Access 2002. Some of these databases have links to Oracle tables (using Oracle 8 ODBC drivers). I was initially getting an error message “Run-time error 3702 – The width of a Unicode text column must be an even number of bytes.”
I found that this was happening in reports (and queries) that had more than one memo field and changed those to have only one (I used sub-reports for the second memo field). It worked fine in some of the databases, but I still have some reports that are giving me the error message, even though they only have one memo field.
Please help!
