I need to be able to do a Save As using Explorer. Don’t want to have to open the file with any program and so far i have found no way of doing a simple save as. I can copy a file to a different subdirectory and then rename and then move back but that seems to be a hard way to do what should be a simple thing. Any ideas?

    In advance, Thanks!

Why are you copying to a different subdirectory? Why not just:
      1. Right drag the file slightly
      2. Choose create copy for the resulting context menu (the file will now be named “Copy of filename.ext”)
      3. Press F2 & type a new name.

I admit it’s not as easy as pressing F12 in Word & then typing a new name, but it’s close.

      Hope this helps.

Yes, but i have a lil easier:
      higlight the file, hit:
      CTRL-C
      then
      CTRL-V
and it’ll make ‘copy of ‘filename’
