During the past three months-or-so I have attended quite a few customers who were having trouble scanning using their MFC or All-in-one printer/scanner.
In each case I checked the printer’s settings and they seemed correct. But soon after starting a “Scan to PC” scan on the printer/scanner’s control panel Win10 would display an “unable to connect” error prompt.
However, if I went (in Win10) to Control PanelDevices and Printers then right-clicked on “Start Scan” the scanner dialog would open and was able to preview/scan.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
