I would like to be able to schedule scans in Defender but Microsoft has nothing posted as to how to accomplish this. They do have an excellent tutorial on scheduling on Windows 7, but it doesn’t carry over to 8.1.1. Has anyone ran across this problem? Your replies would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

AskWoody MVPApril 22, 2014 at 4:11 pm #1449977This works in Windows 8 and 8.1. I’ll wake my laptop to see if it also works with 8.1.1.
