Select Printer Driver via code (Acc 97 sr2 on 95b)

I have searched for this, but I need to be spoon fed regarding coding.

One of the printer drivers we have is a fax driver. Is there a way to set code for a button so that the fax driver is selected, the report is “printed”, and then the default printer is reset? There is only one fax driver and it has the same name on all machines.

You can do it using Windows API calls. You don’t need to change the default printer, you just specifiy the print device you want to use. There is code in several places on the web as well as here in the Access forum. Do a Lounge search on PrtDevMode and you’ll find plenty of discussion on this.
