How do you change the spell-check language from US to UK English? I am getting frustrated by Visio telling me that “organisation”, “colour”, etc is spelt wrong. The Visio Help file “helpfully” tell me that;
“Once you select a language … the appropriate dictionary … is used to check the spelling of text”

What the Help file neglects to tell you is how to select the language!!!!

BTW Does anyone else find the new help system annoying? I much preferred right-clicking on a shape and getting the “Shape Help” in Visio 5.

If you right click a page, select format–>Text and bring up the dialog, you’ll see a language option, which is probably set to default. You can set it to a particular language.
