I came accross a curious thing. With my command :
    DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport, “Report1”, acFormatSNP, “peljo@yahoo.com “, , , “Invoice”, , False
i try to send the report but i get the following message:
a programme is attempting to send the following email message on your behalf
    Sibject : invoice
Would you like to send the message ?
When i click Yes, then i send the report, and in the outlook i see that the report is sent, but it is not received in my inbox. How is it possible ? Why i do not receive the email even though it is in the sent emails box of the outlook ?

Sometimes it takes a little while before the e-mail is delivered to the recipient.
Also check the size of the mail in your Outbox – if the attachment is very large, Yahoo might have a problem with it.

      Hi!

You might be best moving this question to the Outlook forum. It sounds as if MS Access has worked correctly, but a security setting within Outlook is stopping the mesage from being sent. There’s probably a way to change the setting, but I’m no Outlook expert and others would need to advise.

There could also be a way to force use of a specific profile from the SendObject command, but if so, I’m not familiar with it.

      Regards,

If the message hasn’t been sent, it should be stuck in the Outbox folder. If it has been sent, a copy should be stored in the Sent Items folder. From Peljo’s post, I get the impression that the message has been sent.

Thank you to you all for your kindness and will to help. It is a marvelous site indeed ! I just found the reason for my problem and i found the emails sent !
Is it possible to avoid the tedious clicking Yes every time i am sending the email ? , since i always get the following :
a programme is attempting to send the following email message on your behalf
          Sibject : invoice
Would you like to send the message ?
After clicking the email is sent. I want to avoid this question. Is it possible ?

If you check your yahoo email using a web interface do you see it there?

If you send any email ton yourself from within Outlook to you receive it?

I don’t use yahoo, but I do use gmail, and I use pop forwarding to Thunderbird. I find that if I send an email to myself it does not get collected by Thunderbird, so I need to use the web interface to see that it arrived.
