Hi,

I find “A2000ReportToPDF” can convert reports to PDF documents. So is any way we can use “sendobject” or some other tools to automaticly convert reports to PDF as email attachement. I can do only with Snapshot file, but PDF is working for everybody.

Any question, is any way better than “A2000ReportToPDF” to convert reports to PDF documents?

There is no inbuilt support for pdf in Access ( I think this is changing with the next version.)

SendObject can only send database objects such as reports using the inbuilt formats.

So to send a pdf you need to automate the creation of the pdf file, which then becomes an external file rather than a database object. SendObject does not support external attachments.

However Outlook Automation does support external attachments, so if you use Outlook as you mail program you can probably do it that way, but it would take a lot more code.

If you search through the posts you will find some examples of code.

I am not familiar with A2000ReportToPDF. I presume it is a pdf cretor. Does it allow for automatic saving of the pdf file?
