I saw someone ask on here if there is a way to send feedback or report bugs to Apple. There is, and there are a handful of ways to send feedback or report bugs or security issues to Apple.

    Apple Product Feedback

The most common way to send feedback or bug reports to Apple is to use the Apple Product Feedback page. After visiting the page, customers simply choose the Apple product or service to submit feedback to Apple, then complete a simple contact form. I use Apple Product Feedback quite frequently to send feedback or bug reports to Apple.

Feedback Assistant for Developers and Beta Testers

The Apple Developer website offers an additional way to submit feedback using Apple Feedback Assistant (formerly known as Bug Reporter). macOS Catalina now includes a native Feedback Assistant app, and those on iOS 12.4 or later can enable the Feedback Assistant app for iOS by enrolling in beta updates (I haven’t found a way to install it on iOS devices that aren’t enrolled to receive beta updates). A paid Apple Developer membership is not required to use Feedback Assistant (just a free Apple ID). There is also a web version of Feedback Assistant for devices who do not have access to the app. I tend to use Feedback Assistant over Apple Product Feedback for more major bugs with Apple products or services and use Apple Product Feedback for smaller bugs or general feedback, since with Feedback Assistant, I can attach more detailed logs or information.

Report a Security or Privacy Vulnerability

For customers who find specific security or privacy vulnerabilities in Apple products or services, there is also a way to report a security or privacy vulnerability to Apple. There is also a way to securely submit files to Apple using a PGP key.

Hopefully this answers the question about the various ways to send feedback to Apple, as well as the best method for sending feedback, bugs, or security issue reports to Apple.
