    I am using the SendObject method to create an email from a form(clicking a button). It works fine, but ONLY ONCE! Then I get either no response or a Run Time Error 2501 message : The sendobject action was cancelled. Any help would be appreciated! THANKS.

      David,

      Can you post the code in question? That will help immensely with the troubleshooting process.

      Thanks

        Private Sub Command6_Click()
        DoCmd.SendObject , , acFormatHTML, , , , [Complaints.CompContact], “[Complaints.Comp.Desc] “, True, “”
        End Sub

        Form is based on Complaints table. Subject of the email is the CompContact and the message text pulls from the Comp.Desc (the description of the complaint). I’ve added and deleted statements like option explicit and this makes no difference. I need some signal to Outlook to reset or something like that. (I am not a VBA programmer, just guessing here…)THANK YOU.

          Oddly enough, I tried the same thing with Access/Outlook 2000 (SR-1) – even changing some of the arguments – and got the same error!

          I’ll keep looking into it, but maybe in the meantime someone else will have a suggestion. shrug
