hi,
how can i performs a sequence no
if i hav a column below ..what is the formula for this ..
note: each time i enter a new row of data the ref no will increase..

REF NO. COMPANY
TCL/001/05 XXXX
TCL/002/05 AAAA
TCL/003/05 BBBB
TCL/004/05 CCCC

….

If the first cell is in row 2

=”TCL/” & TEXT(ROW()-1,”000″)&”/05″

will do it – drag down as needed
