Could someone please assist with this spreadsheet in Excel 2016:
I want to colour the row of cells to match the colour allocated to a job number in a separate sheet.
The Job numbers and descriptions with a colour code (RGB or ColourIndex number – I’m not too particular) are in the sheet “JobNumbers”
The job number is entered into Column A of the capture sheet for the week “9”, and I want the row to have the background colour to match the Colour Index of the Job number from the Job Number sheet.
I’ve looked at Conditional Formatting which can do this but you have to create a rule for each job number. If there are more jobs that come along, then this causes a problem because the whole conditional formatting has to be re-done (and across all 53 weeks’ sheets for the year!)
How would I do this please?
