In some of my Forms I have a Hyperlink to Word documents or Excell tables , stocked on a Server. With these hyperlinks, the right Word. doc or Excell table is opened. So far so good. However, on closing MS Word or Excell, I don’t get the focus on my Access Form again. I do return to desktop and there you have to click on the taskbar to set the form again in focus.
Is there a solution that brings the (still open) Access Form in focus ?

Try opening your Word or Excel file through a form in Access by using an Unbound Object Form control. In that way Access doesn’t loose focus.

      Sorry. That’s Unbound Object Frame
