I am distributing a macro to some of my users by copying VBAproject.otm. The code needsd a reference to Microsoft Active Data Objects 2.7 Library. Is there a way to do that programatically?

You need another reference to be able to set references in code: to the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Extensibility 5.3 library crazy
Isn’t the reference stored in the .otm file?

I also thought it was stored in the otm file – and in fact it is. The person trying told me that it was not working. However, it turns out that the original otm file had Microsoft Active Data Objects 2.8 and the other machines had version 2.7. When I reset the reference to the 2.7 version, it worked!
