I installed Win 10 Pro using the Media Creation Tool without any problem, but when I ran sfc /scannow it found corrupt files relating to “MicrosoftEdgeSquare44x44”. I then ran SFCFix.exe and got the message shown in the attached screenshot. I did not find the web page referred to helpful. (I had the same problem with previous Insider builds). How can I sort this out, or should I just ignore this? (I have the Win 10 .iso file, and a dvd I created from the .iso image).

    Advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks and regards, Roy 41496-Screenshot-30_07_2015-12_23_42

      There is no SFCFix.exe

There is. You have to download it from sysinternals.

I installed Win 10 Pro Insider Preview Build 10525 today, and then ran sfc /scannow, and at last no integrity violations were found. (With every previous build “unfixable” errors were found relating to the Edge browser).

        Righto Roy,

Forget about “Edge” errors for at least the next three months. It will take at least that long before M$ sorts out Edge to work anywhere near as well as IE11.
