Oops we did it again. Lowest bidder got us two machines with built in Video that shares the RAM. Upped the units to 256 MB. Is there a way to alter the Video RAM in this type of system? One unit is a Compaq and the other an HP. They are shared at 16 MB and have not AGP slot. The HP kicks out on games like Ages of Empire, but does not kick off. I thought of buying PCI Video, but budgets prevent that at this point.

Same problem with my HP Vectra, at 8Mb RAM for the on-board video. There is no alternative to a PCI card, I’m afraid brickwall money. Can’t speak for the Compaq, but my guess is that the same applies. Start saving!
