If I right-click a shortcut in the build 9926 Start Menu this is all there is in the context menu:

    39141-Notepad

I wanted to have Notepad open by pressing Ctrl-Alt-N, but “Properties” is not in the context menu. I had to use Salamander http://www.altap.cz/ to go to C:UsersJohnAppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuProgramsAccessories then right-click on Notepad.lnk to access the shortcut’s Properties dialog.

Found this to be true on my PC as well. You can temporarily pin it to the task bar and access its properties there and unpin it when you are done.

John, hello. consider yourself lucky, I do not get this much information on my Shortcut properties. I am missing two, the Run as Administrator and the Uninstall. Whence they got to ?

      39147-0Short

The larger one is mine beside yours on the right.

And I get nothing in the bottom part of the list ! How to populate it ?

Hey, PFM ! I just got it clicked again and there they are. Jean.
