      Thanks for the question and answer. I’ve been wondering that myself. I will now update I.E., as using Vista, and Firefox, I occasionally see the computer does use I.E..

      If you are using either Win2000 or WinXP you could safely remove IE using a shareware program called 2000Lite or XPLite from LitePC’s web site.

      For those using XP or Vista, upgrade to either IE7 or IE8 and install the latest version of Firefox, Google Chrome or other non-IE browser available.

      iam running windows 7, and there is no way of removing ie9 . going to programs and features to uninstall ie9 it any there to be found? Wot web of trust goes bright red and tells you that it cant be TRUSTED.
