Sizes of Window erratic

This has been a nag in my side for windows xp, vista and now windows 7. I’d like to make all my windows open in fully expanded mode but they open in different sizes. I’ve tried several things and have been unsuccessful. Is there anyone out there with a solution to this irritation. I’m not sure if this is related but I also have a similar problem with outlook 2010 where the panes don’t always open to the size I left them at. Any help is appreciated. I am running windows 7 64 bit.

Ralph,

Open the program.
Maximize the window.
Hold Ctrl while clicking X

Now that program should always open maximized, or what ever size you had it when you Ctrl+Xed it.

Repeat for each program. :cheers:
