Slow dial up connection

Hi,

I appear to be having a slow dial up connection when trying to connect to the internet.
It is taking a while to connection to the internet.
I would appreciate it if you could tell me of a way in which l can speed up the time it takes to connect to the
internet.

Hi Justin:
That would be a mouthful. First, I’d call my ISP & make sure that everything is set up correctly. One thing I can tell you is go to Start/Settings…/Control Panel/Internet Options/Connections tab/Settings/Properties/Server types tab & make sure that “Log onto network” is UNchecked.
