Hi all…for some unknown reason when I scroll through my database with the middle wheel, some of the field titles seem to appear smudged, if I restart the database, they are all crystal clear, until I start to scroll again…I am using an Ariel 10pt font…..Or does anybody know of an ideal clean looking font…?

thanks in advance…Steve in Southampton UK

Do you mean the labels? That is a bug in Access 2002 and Access 2003; there is no easy solution (I think it has something to do with the position of the labels).
I don’t know whether this problem has been solved in Access 2007.

        Hi HanV,

yes it is the labels…..the strange thing is that other parts of the screen are clear, and I am using the same font…I was wondering if there is a better font to use…

        thanks Steve

No, it’s not dependent on the font that you use; as I mentioned in my previous reply it is related to the position of the labels, but I don’t know how exactly. The problem appears to occur more frequently in forms that have originally been created in an older version of Access.
