Start Menu Icon not working

Turned on my PC this morning and found out the Start menu Icon is not working anymore. Is there any way to repair this other than creating another account? Please any help would be appreciated.

Reboot the PC. Its always the first thing to try as Windows can fail to start a required service first time round for no fathomable reason.:) The second thing to try is System Restore.

The first thing I tried before posting was to completely shutdown my PC and restarted it with the same result. No working menu. After reading your post I figured what have I got to lose but this time I only did a “Restart” thinking I would have the same result but NO This time it worked my start Menu is OK now!! Just to be on the safe side I tried a few shutdown with no problem.
