I have about 500 gb of videos stored on my OneDrive for Business account.  I’m limited to 1TB of storage unless I upgrade my Office 365 plan or upgrade to One Drive “Plan 2” for $10 per month.  🙁

All of these files have the OneDrive option of “Free Up Space” set, so the files are NOT stored on my local pc, but rather only exist in the OneDrive cloud.

I’m thinking of moving all the videos out of OneDrive and move them to some other cloud storage vendor.  However, when I tried to move them to SharePoint, the video was first downloaded to my local PC and then uploaded to SharePoint.

Does anyone know a way to move files from the OneDrive cloud directly to another cloud without having to download/upload them first via my local pc?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jim

You will have to pay for data transfer service like : CloudFuze and others.

Storing your data on a local external HDD (4-16TB) will be much cheaper.

@Alex:  yes, I know that (unfortunately).   But do you know a way to transfer the files

from OneDrive directly to another cloud vendor without having to first download them to my local pc and then upload them from there?

The service in my response above do just that. Direct transfer (from any cloud service to any cloud service) for a fee.
Maybe you can find (a paid) cloud service that will do that for you.

@Alex   Thanks!  The transfer service is exactly what I’m looking for.  Don’t know why I didn’t remember about them!
