Strange table showing up in relationship view (XP)

I have created several relationships in my DB and when I look at the relationship view, one of the tables is in there twice (with _1 appended to the name) and it has a one-to-one relationship with its original table (without the _1). When I delete that table and save then close the window, it is still there when I open it again. Any idea why?

What happens if you first delete the relationship and then the table with the _1?
