Obviously not a lot of takers for this one. Here is a graphic that illustrates the three different information that gets displayed on the town clock. Its electronic and it cycles between the time, temperature and ‘other’. The graphic also shows how they line up.

“Look at that, the stupid clock in town is broken again” complain Joe, “and I have to catch the 8:55 train”.
Bill smiled, he was use to Joe’s early morning grumpiness – “what makes you say its broken, Joe?”.
“Well,” said Joe (Oops – I originally had Bill here but as Hans pointed out that was wrong)), “its cycling (like it always does) between the time, the temperature and some other number with a C next to it, but the last number is not changing and the second last number is either constant or missing. Its broken, I tell ya! I’ve got a 3 minute walk to the train station and I want to know if I have already missed the train”.
So, has Joe missed his train?
Bonus: What is Joe / Bill not wearing?Viewing 1 reply thread -
