Is it possible (per a script) to roll back Windows 10 22H2 fromย  19045.5487 to 19045.2006.
I do not (and did not) have System Restore running when M$ updated a Windows 10 22H2 machine I have.ย  It did the update right after the user logout. Any constructive suggestion are greatly appreciated.ย  Thanks in advance

        Just uninstall the security update.

And in order to do just that, please keep in mind the following guidance in the KB article about the security update:Remove-security-update
LCU is “Latest Cumulative Update”, or the latest monthly security update for Windows.

That method to remove the update is needed because, as the notice says, the monthly update package installed by Windows Update (or other Microsoft updating mechanisms) contains not only the security update but a revision to the servicing stack as well and the servicing stack cannot be removed however the security update can but only through the use of the specified DISM command.

Note: uninstalling the LCU reverts all the changes that were made to the OS with one very important exceptionโ€ฆ the installed version will not revert back to the previous version; i.e. 19045.5487 will still be 19045.5487 (BTDT).

That’s because the SSU is what determines the installed version and, as pointed out above, you cannot remove it once it’s been installed!

The only way to fully revert back to a previous version would be to restore an “image backup” of the system as it existed before it was updated (also BTDT).
