Can anyone tell me how to contact MS and report a bug in Outlook 2007?
I have a problem that when I am typing in Outlook once my message travels past the bottom of the message window the winow view jumps back to the top of the message.

I can then use the scroll bars to scroll where the text is being inserted and everything that I type is there. But if I continue to type as soon as the text position drops down another line the view ot the text window again jumps to the top of the message. Essentially I cannot see what I am typing. I do touch type but I have the habit of watching what I enter on screen as I type.

    TIA
    Bret

Don’t get your hopes up high – Microsoft must get thousands of bug reports a day. They *do* read them, but don’t expect a quick reaction.

With the week I have had, it is nice to know that I can at least pass along an issue to someone else. The fix will be an added feature in Outlook 2009!

            Thanks again,

I tried re-creating your problem in my Outlook 2007, but don’t seem to get it to do that for me. Was just curious.

Obviously, you just need to type shorter emails! smile

How big is the window you are typing your messages in? Are you using a full screen window or about half screen? Just curious.

Shorter emails was my first thought. But I think I have a politician’s blood in me, I have to expound.

As to your question I guess I am not sure how to answer you. I would call it full screen. The tool bars and To:, CC:, Subject and all are at the top and then the rest of the screen is for the text window. It seems to come an go (the bug).

If I am typing and then get interuppted and pause for a while I can then go back to typing and it won’t jump for several lines. Then it will start up again. I use a large (18) font. So it doesn’t take much for me to use up a lot of space.

I would love to find that it is some setting that I have messed with that caused this. But, I upgraded from Office 2003 to 2007 and changed no settings. I didn’t have the issue in 2003.

              Thanks for inquiring.
