Is there an easy way to create a formula for the following example: 13,000-6,000=(total); then keep subtracting 6,000 from subsequent totals, eventually ending up with a zero total. I hope I explained this correctly. Thanks for any help!! Go Pens!!!

How are you going to end up with a zero total doing that? scratch

Good Question Hans – here’s what we needed. We’re setting up a column of numbers and want to subtract 5779.91 from each prior total – so in our first cell (A1) we have =1387177.25-5779.91, which gave us a total; then for cell A2 we have =A1-5771.91. Cell A2 is then repeated for our remaining cells (A3, A4, A5, etc.)
