SUMIF based on empty cell (2000)

I am trying to perform a SUMIF calculation, but rather than summing based on a specific criteria, i.e. a text or numeric value, I want to sum the values in one column if the cell in the preceding column is empty. I’ve tried a couple of different formulas, but haven’t had any luck.

Column J14:J20 is the column where the sumif criteria is located, i.e. blank or non-blank cells
Column K14:K20 is the column where the values to be summed are located.
