summing using index function

I have several rows that I want to add using the index function for eg row 1504:1510-see my formula below

=-SUM(INDEX(sheet1!1504:1504,95)+SUM(INDEX(sheet1!1506:1506,95)+SUM(INDEX(sheet1!1507:1507,95))))

The formula must refer to cells CQ1504:CQ1510 (sheet1) The formula is placed in cell C3 on sheet Stats

Is there and easier way to add these rows using the index formula. The reason why I am using the index formula instead of the offset formula is that 1 new column is added each month

=SUM(INDEX(A1504:CQ1510,0,95)) should do it nicely.
