I have a Win7 laptop (Pro 64 bit) connected wirelessly to a WinXP machine through an old Linksys WRT54GS router.
I wanted to drop the wireless connection for now and use a wired connection, which I think will be faster than the wireless connection. I have a large collection of files I want to transfer (in the hundreds of GB). The wireless connection only transfers at 2MB/sec.
I terminated the wireless connection from the Win7 laptop. But I can’t seem to figure out HOW to make the wired connection now.
Can anyone help?
