Switching Between Documents (Word 2003)

For years, I could switch between documents in Word by using the same Alt-Tab command that I use to switch between programs. Also, it only shows a single Word document when I use alt-tab, instead of being able to choose between all the open Word documents, and I have to use alt-F6 or Ctrl-F6.

Is there a way to get the old way back?

Select Tools | Options…
In the View tab, tick the check box ‘Windows in Task bar’.
Click OK.
