I can create a point manually but ME won’t create any more “daily” points. I have no viruses, Task scheduler is OK and everything else seems fine. The _Restore folder slowly fills, about 100 MB/day. This is in excess of my one point every day or so. When it reaches its limit it purges almost all its contents and the process starts again.

    Any help?

      Try allocating more space.

To give System Restore more disk space to save information

Open System properties in Control Panel.
Click the Performance tab, and then click File System.
On the Hard Disk tab, move the System Restore disk space use slider to allot more space for System Restore.
      Click Apply, and then OK

Tried that without success I’m afraid.
